This service is a one-way loop, starting and ending at Taunton's Parade in the Town Centre, and travels towards Taunton Railway Station, up through Cheddon Road, around Wellsprings and Pyrland, then towards Priorswood and Nerrols, past Priorswood Industrial Estate, up through Lyngford Road, and back into Town via the Railway Station.
This route also includes the previous route used for the now defunct Service 2.
After 18:45 the route becomes the 1E Service, which extends along part of the Park and Ride route, stopping at Musgrove Park Hospital and continuing on to the Silk Mills Park and Ride site. The 1E servies does not include the former Service 2 route.
The single fare is capped at £2.50 for the entire Service 1 route.
The timetable for the No.1 service below is in operation from the 12th January 2026.
